Establishing a Government College at Taki in the post independence era in 1950, had been a pioneering footstep and the Taki Government College, in its very many avenues, has been upholding the cause of its foundation. The college is carrying through its task of imparting inclusive education to the aspiring students coming from a stretched spectrum of social and economical background and thus it is reasserting the spirit of inclusiveness. In the stream of adding on to the age of its existence, the College always nourished the dreams of its student-talents to come true which led them to establish their own self in the cherished weighty echelon of the society.

With all these credentials embedded in its fold, Taki Govt College has rolled itself as a legend in the educational realm of the vast region of its abode. The present set of human resources comprising of students, teachers, support staff & a wide section of well-wishers, have been working in tandem, on the common theme of lifting the stature of the college to more & more higher esteem with the single-minded pledge, "move forward – come what may".
